Why I Decided to Marry My Husband 남편과 결혼을 결심하게 된 이유

go steady  (진지하게) 교제를 하다
We went steady for about two and a half years and tied the knot in church.
The couple reconciled almost immediately and decided to go steady from then on

tie the knot  결혼하다
If you don't tie the knot, you can't move out of your parents'place,

make up one's mind  결심하다
I made up my mind to marry him because he was always there for me.
a potential partner before they tie the knot.

always there for  한결같이 곁에 있는
because someone is always there for you when you need them.
feeling always there for you to want to be an artist?

lack patience 끈기가 부족하다
I sometimes lack patience and I flip-flop a lot. 
Nobody does it because they lack patience.

Then they could flip flop between perspectives at different times

be anchored 안정적이다, 듬직하다
But my husband is anchored, in terms of his personal relationships and social life.
in which identity and the past is anchored.
And as I've said before, our strength abroad is anchored

That sincere attitude convinced me I could count on him.

can count on  ~을 신뢰할 수 있다
I can count on one hand 
as many things as you can count on one hand
You can count on me.

put someone at ease  마음을 편하게 해주다, 안심시키다
being with my now-husband put me at ease.
How do you put someone at ease?

give someone the go-ahead 허락하다, 승인하다
and gave us the go-ahead to get married.
 my doctors gave us the go ahead.
So that gave us the go ahead to be able

deal with obstacles 힘든 일에 대응하다
we dealt with obstacles as a couple during seven years of marriage. 
How have you dealt with those obstacles and barriers

in the years to come  앞으로 
we will create an even more beautiful family in the years to come. 
we've made in the years to come.
And things will change again, more positively, in the years to come.
