▶ Key Expressions

have some free time 여유 시간이 있다
I had some free time before starting college.
getting an hour and half break where you can have some free time
I was hoping I would have some free time during this week,


have occasion to ~할 일이 있다
I rarely had occasion to drive.
may have occasion to persuade some of them,
that we never have occasion to express.

fall into disuse 사용하지 않게 되다
My license fell into disuse. 

passenger seat 조수석
My husband sits in the passenger seat and helps on the occasional short trip.

the occasional short trip 간혹 있는 단거리 여정

constant nagging 끊임없는 잔소리
But his constant nagging about my mistakes was too much to bear


too much to bear 견디기 너무 힘든
because the pain of feeling unworthy is too much to bear.
 it's almost too much to bear.

office couple 사내 커플
My husband and I were an office couple until recently.


heavy workload 많은 업무량
But he has a heavier workload since he changed jobs.

change jobs 이직을 하다

fall to someone to ~을 책임지게 되다
It often fell to me to pick up the kids in our car. 
And then it fell to me to pick it up.
And those decisions fell to me.

car is in motion 차량이 운행 중이다
I haven't gotten into any accidents while the car was in motion. 

dents and dings  작은 흡집
But I did get some dents and dings on the car while parking. 

nitpick about ~에 대해 잔소리하다, 트집을 잡다
I would miss having my husband nitpick about my driving.
