DAY 01 하루 일과

daily routine /일상

Excercise has become a part of my daily routine

go off /알람이 울리다

The alarm should go off automatically as soon as smoke is detected.

wake up /잠에서 깨다

Wake up, sleeppyhead!

oversleep /늦잠자다

I forgot to set my alarm and overslept.

make the one's bed /잠자리를 정리하다

I make my bed everyday.

sip /한 모금

She bit into a croissant and took a sip of coffee.

I took a short cut to get to school.

nap / 낮잠

Go take a nap. I'll cover for you untill you return.

My contract runs out in September.

expire /만료되다

Your passport will expire ten years from the issue date.

renew /연장하다. 갱신하다.

Remind me to renew my dirver's license. It will expire next month.

go house hunting /집을 구하러 다니다

When you go house hunting with a real esstate agent, you can feel free to look around a house.

agent /부동산중개인

The real estate agent had pictures of house from the outside but none of its interior.

studio /원룸(아파트)

I recommend a studio apartment for a single man.

utility /공공시설, 공공요금

We cannot pay for rent and untilities with our current salary.

landlord /집주인, 입대인

The landlord had promised to renovate the house before we moved in.

tenant /세입자, 임차인

The tenant must ask for permission from the landlord prior to making any changes to the apartment.

furnished /가구가 비치된

They're renting a furnished apartment on the third floor.

mortgage /주택담보대출

Your mortgate will be repaid over 30 years.

preferably /이왕이면, 오히려

We're looking for a new house, preferably one near the school.

sublet /재임대하다

There is a clause in the contract forbidding tenants to sublet.

These trousers are a bit tight around my waist.

Jeans are a staple part of everyone's wardrobe.

sew /바느질하다.

She used a needle to sew the button onto the shirt.
